3.5 stars. Dream Warrior is the first book in the Dark Warrior Alliance series. This can be read as a standalone but it does end in a cliffhanger for the next book. There is violence and the sex is hot and steamy so 18+.The book blurb adequately describes the storyline so I'm not going to repeat that all of that info here. The story, and series, is a PNR story about a group of vampires and allies trying to survive, despite demons and humans hunting them. Dream Warrior is a fresh take on the typical vampire storyline. This book and the characters are well written. I look forward to reading more of this series.

Wow! This book is amazing. I loved it!
The length of the book is great, at 600 pages it has enough room to develop characters, a great story line, details to keep it interesting, and twists and turns to keep you on your toes.
It has love, romance, and sex but it doesn't depend upon that to try to keep your interest, the story line of the book is developed to keep you reading. This is my favorite kind of book! A must read if you enjoy vampires, shifters and paranormal.

Wonderfully thought out, creative writing, and personable, loveable characters. I am so amazed at the way I was drawn in to each of there lives by the skillfully woven backgrounds this author stitched together flawlessly.
I love the way I was given a background story on each of the characters to make me root for them as well as the 2 central characters. I am most definitely going to purchase the connecting books in this series to learn more about each of them.
This one to follow and let yourself be taken away with the delicately woven storylines that always seems to lead back to go some "verra" HOT HOT HOT Dark Warriors and their creation and subsequent lives.

WOW! I have been looking forward to reading a book from these two authors, Brenda Trim, & Tami Julka. I hate to say it but I got this book a year ago but I haven't had time to read them then I just decided let me read this book it's been on my TBR list too long. I need to say this I wanted to kick myself because I let a awesome book sit on my TBR list and I could have been caught up with the series. This is a great book to read. I enjoyed the way this couple seem to have been meant for each other. This is Zander Tarakesh and Elsie Hayes story. Zander is a sexy vampire king, he is battle hardened but so accustomed to leading and commanding in battle. Elsie is a mortal who has no idea she is Zander's fated mate because she isn't over the vicious murder of her husband Dalton. What a great vampire romance with a few twists on the vampire realm. I really enjoyed the Vamprie world that these two authors created. The chemistry between the main characters are exciting, compelling and romantic. Zander and Elsie were burns up the pages which made this all the more enjoyable for the first book of Dark Warrior. I must tell you that there is a cliffhanger at the end, so if you don't like a cliffhanger after reading this book you may change your mind. Now I going to read the next book in the series. I'm so happy to say better late than never. I really enjoyed reading this book. I'm a hopeless romantic and this book gave me romance and so much more. This is a Fantastic Book it's scorching hot, sexy, it has violence with attitudes. If this is not the kind of stuff you like to read, skip this book. However, if you're a fan of all things naughty, sexual tension, action and humor, this is perfect for you. Enjoy! I'm so excited about reading the next book in this series. I would recommend this book to anyone and everyone. If you have it on your TBR list it needs to be changed to be on your must read list.
Dream Warrior is more than just a sexy and fun read; it also has a plot and characters which will reel you in and leave you anxiously awaiting the next novel. Sexual tension throughout the novel culminates in many descriptive scenes that have the power to leave you panting, blushing, and wondering where you can sign up for your own Dream Warrior.
In addition to its many deliciously steamy scenes, Dream Warrior is also a story about letting go of the pains of the past and being open to the unknown possibilities of the future. Zander, the Vampire King and alpha male used to having his every word obeyed instantly, must be patient and tender in order to win over the heart of the woman he is fated to be with. Elsie, a heartbroken widow, secretly spends her nights hunting down the fanged creatures responsible for her husband's death, and she is unsure how to handle her attraction to this new intense and sexy male specimen.
While some aspects of the novel may exist solely in the fantasy world, Brenda Trim & Tami Julka successfully suspend readers' disbelief regarding vampires, supernatural abilities, and alternate realms. They write characters who are complicated, lonely, insecure, short-tempered, devoted, scared, brave, timid, and - lest we forget - sexy, to say the least, and readers quickly become invested in the lives and futures of the characters.
Dream Warrior is a novel that I highly recommend if you are looking for a sexy adult paranormal romance with substance. This story will keep you up at night and leave you wanting more.
